How we can help
Our Green CSCS / GQA course covers the health and safety knowledge behind the green card. Ask us what is included before you book so you know exactly what is covered and what you pay separately, such as test and card fees.
Frequently asked questions
Is a green card the same as a provisional card?
No. The green Labourer card is a full card for labouring work. Provisional and trainee cards are different, time-limited cards. Check cscs.uk.com for the current rules.
Can I work as a skilled tradesperson with a green card?
No. The green card is for labouring duties. If you work in a skilled trade, you will usually need the blue Skilled Worker card, which needs a relevant qualification such as an NVQ Level 2.
How long is the HS&E test result valid?
CSCS requires a recent test pass when you apply. Always check the current validity period on cscs.uk.com before you book.
